The Caged girl By Pushpita Sengupta
The Caged girl
By Pushpita Sengupta
When I was a child
I wanted a life like this
A life with one
Who will stay happy with me
But after marriage
My desire changed completely.
I only want the age
That I had spent happily
I thought the world is straight
Now I only hear the word 'hate'
Getting him, was my only wish
I didn't know, he is so selfish
I was a girl, who was free
Right now I have only the responsibility
At least I ran
To win the childish race
Now also I can
But I see my parent's faces.
