4. Ludus (Playful love)
This kind of love occurs in the early stage of a relationship commonly called the honeymoon phase. It is a playful and flirtious kind of love. This includes the excitement and butterflies you feel when you like somebody or crush on someone, it also consists of teasing, laughter, flirting, playful things etc. Between two people. A lot of exciting emotion is included in this kind of love.
5. Agape (Love for everyone)
It is the best love to offer because this love is without expectations. In this people spread love in every circumstance. This is also a concept in Christianity to spread unconditional love selflessly, it is a love between God and humans. It includes spirituality, acceptance, forgiveness and trust.
6. Mania (Obsessive love)
It is an obsessive love for your partner, this includes jealousy and possessiveness. This is majorly found in couples who have an imbalance in their relationship, the main cause of Mania is the imbalance of Ludos and Eros. It involves the feeling of codependency, and makes the relationship very toxic and unhealthy. People want to sense self value.
7. Philautia (Self love)
This refers to self love or self compassion. It's a kind of love where you realise your self worth and is healthy. It begins with acknowledging your responsibility for your well being, you don't compromise with your personal needs whether there are emotional, physical or mental. Greeks used to believe that if you love yourself then you have more capacity to love others more.
8. Storage (Family love)
It is a naturally occurring love between children and parents, between siblings or between old friends that are just like family. It has a deep emotional attachment, and comes easily between child and parent. Your memories engage you to have a long lasting relationship with the individual, with the increasing memories the love also increases. It has a feeling of safety and security.
