How to found the perfect match ?
When two individuals like each other, find something common and decide to meet, this is term as dating. Dating is a stepping stone to getting into a relationship. This may or may not cultivate into a relationship. It’s not as simple as it sounds, depending on if it’s a casual dating or looking for something serious. Before we date or even before we start to think about dating, we all have a checklist or qualities that we would like our future prospect to have. In today’s gen z era, when everything is online, we have put our preferences, likes and dislikes on dating apps or it’s always best to go traditional, to look for a partner in the old fashioned way which is through blind dates and even at random encounters in the most unlikely places. How do I find perfect match, the minute we start thinking of a partner.

SELF-REFLECTION
Before seeking a partner, its better to have clear understanding of yourself. Awareness of ones values, interests and goals, will help one find someone who aligns with them.
PAST EXPERIENCES
Reflect and use past insights to learn from. This will help make sane decisions.
SOCIAL NETWORKING
Engaging in activities that align with your interest and values will increase one’s chances of meeting like minded individuals.
BE HONEST
Who wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with an honest person? Relationships built on trust are the best ones. Its easier to put this quality on list then to actually find one. Also, we need to keep in mind, in just first meeting, all cards cant be revealed, but that doesn’t mean for rest of the dates you keep guessing what's next about the partner. Always take note of the little details in their life so if they slip up, you’ll immediately know if they are being dishonest or not.
GOAL ORIENTED
By goal oriented, we don’t mean having a hefty pay-check job. Even if a person doesn’t have a high paid job, they can still be a good partner in life, so long as they have a goal in mind, realistic one. Relationships aren’t solely about romance and love, they are also about responsibility and finance.
NO HURRY
When everything hovering around us is moving so fast, one shouldn’t hurry getting into a relationship. Initially everything looks bed of roses till the tough times arise. One must take time, other one shouldn’t push, give time and space for things to fall in place.
FEEL GOOD
Social media influences us in both good and bad way. What comes up in reel world, does not have to be true or fact always. Its expectation v/s reality. Who would want to be with a person, who see’s them as somebody else?
VALUES TIME
A perfect person, is the one who understands and values, not just his but your time and commitment as well. A boundary, that needs to be respected and not crossed. Invasion of personal space leads to break ups.
COMMON INTEREST
It’s wrong to expect a 100% match when it comes to common interest. But there will surely be a few to take a note. It could be a passion for movies, cooking, traveling, reading or anything. This is a good start to a relationship when someone you dating also shares same interest like you. It’s also good to find a person who has different interest from you. Its good to explore each other’s hobbies over time. It would also be nice if you and your significant other begin exploring other hobbies that you can start together.
EMOTIONAL QUOTIENT
Logic doesn’t work in all scenarios. It works the best when a person understands and is there during emotional needs. A better understanding makes a relationship tough.
GIVE SPACE
Who wants to be with a person who questions you all the time, is over possessive, doesn’t trust? Its difficult for both person and relationship to survive and grow.
COMMUNICATION MATTERS
For any relationship to get stronger, communication is the key. Any misunderstanding, needs to be cleared. Relationship cannot be based on assumption.
PERTINENCE PAYS
Every individual reacts in a different manner. Two impulsive individuals are likely to drift apart. In such situations, patience plays a major role. Knowing one’s personality and then opting for someone who can sail through reactive times is the key. Over expecting patience from one only, will also ruin.
CONCLUDING FACTOR
Finding a perfect partner is a deeply personal and subjective matter, as what works for one person may not work for another. However, above are some general guidelines that may help oneself in ones pursuit for a partner to live with for life!
